InfoStrength Introduces Two Microsoft-Based Offerings at DIA Meeting
Raleigh, NC - June 10, 2004 - InfoStrength, Inc., the developer of the InfoStrength Smart Enterprise Suite (SES) and a premier provider of IT solutions in regulated environments, will introduce for the first time two Microsoft-based applications at the Drug Information association (DIA) meeting beginning June 14th in Washington, D.C.
"InfoStrength's leading technology applications offer life science organizations innovative tools to address the regulatory challenges faced by the industry and to realize efficiencies throughout the drug life cycle," said Steve Chin, Global Life Sciences Industry Manager at Microsoft. "Based on Microsoft's proven technology, these solutions enable customers to achieve increased productivity and improved quality across the enterprise at a lower total cost of ownership."
"InfoStrength is very excited to see two of our products featured at the DIA meeting. During the DIA meeting we will be helping a client launch an InfoStrength developed validated clinical trial system that is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and the InfoStrength Smart Enterprise Suite of applications that was utilized to manage the product's regulatory compliance needs. Both products are built on Microsoft technologies," said Rita Geiger, President and CEO of InfoStrength.
"Our client is launching a validated system that creates a web-enabled clinical trial collaborative environment built on Microsoft .NET Framework. The product offers improved drug-tracking capabilities, data collection, and clinical trial management that reduces data duplication and provides real time tracking of a trial's progress to meet the unique needs of small clinical trials," says Geiger.
The InfoStrength Smart Enterprise Suite of applications was developed in response to the life science industry's need to address compliance management requirements with automated consistency. Built on Microsoft .NET Framework and supporting SQL Server, the Infostrength SES addresses numerous critical life science business functions including regulatory compliance management, validation process management, quality process control and deployment, document collaboration, and knowledge capturing and distribution.
The InfoStrength SES recently received its "Verified for Windows Server 2003" confirmation and InfoStrength subsequently became a Microsoft Certified Partner. "Highlighting Microsoft technologies at the June DIA is a natural step in InfoStrength's relationship with Microsoft," said Geiger. Information about the InfoStrength SES can be found in the Microsoft DIA exhibit, booth numbers 441, 442, 443, 541, 542, & 543.
